The MMS system provides the skipper with information about
technical details on board of small vessels.
The system is especially applicable for renting vessels.
In combination with RRS the vessel can be rented or reserved.
The reservation will be sent to the vessel and will only enable the
reservee to use the vessel. The system will continuously update it's position to the shore.
In case the reservation is about to expire a warning will be sent to the system on board the vessel and to shore. The system also contains an option to inform users about local wildlife and vegetation trough SMS, this is triggered depending on the current position of the vessel.
The MMS is equipped with a GPS and GSM module.
The LCD display can display various types of information
such as “welcome” when the reserved period is about to start.
The MMS also contains 4 buttons, these buttons provide
the possibility to enter a code or to operate the device.
The card reader can unlock the system and allow the reservee to
start the engine when the correct keycard is provided.
Equipped with incoming and outgoing contacts the MMS system
also provides the possibility for signaling and control such as:
Track & trace, area monitoring, position log,
MOBA (Man Over Board Alarm), digital key, picture.
